Manhattan Floral Impression Die - WooHoo!

Friday the 13th ended up being a good day for me! Mr. Brown was on my doorstep around 12:30 pm with my Stampin' Up order! I could hardly wait to tear into it. I had ordered the Manhattan Floral Impression Die (embossing folder for you Cuttlebug fans) and I had the day to myself. So down to my room I headed to be creative.

To create this card I used the Tangerine Tango cardstock cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4. The next layer is Whisper White cardstock cut to
5 3/8 x 4 1/8. The next layer is the Tangerine Tango Designer Series Paper cut to 5 1/4 x 4 and then placed in the Manhattan Floral impression die and put through the Cuttlebug. I then took the DSP and my sanding block and sanded the image so that it would be white. The designer series papers have a white core (unlike the SU cardstock) so when you sand the raised image it turns white. I have to give credit to Mary Fish at www.stampinpretty.com for this information. You should take time to visit her blog, she has some awesome ideas!

Recipe for card: tangerine tango cardstock (111349), whisper white cardstock (100730), tangerine tango dsp (112153), Manhattn floral impression die (114517), 1 3/4" circle punch (112004), scallop circle Nestability (non Stampin' Up), Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set (113734), whisper white 1/4" grosgrain ribbon.
